Derek played at the club about three years ago and in the “Now for something completely different”” concert at the Banbury folk festival in 2002.

He is a renowned guitarist, banjo picker and singer.

His show spans the blues, trad and contemporary with lots more in between.

He peppers the show with tall stories, fast one liners, tragic and comical tales of misfortune and an array of extraordinary characters who find themselves in situations that he brings to life, turns around and finds humour in them all.
