Not complete strangers to the club because they performed at one of our open stage nights.

A performance that was well received by club members.

‘Brackenrigg’ are the duo Brian Oldham and Bruce Caulkin.

Their interest in music goes back to their teenage years.

Their formation in 2003 amalgamated over sixty years of song collecting and singing from both traditional and contemporary sources.

Each programme presents an eclectic mix, and with guitar, mandolin and banjo accompaniments, their vocals and harmonies evoke a true love of the genre.
