A presentation of songs and slides entitled "How are you off for coals?"

It is a celebration of the culture and traditions of the people ofwho lived and worked in the Durham and Northumberland coal mining communities, using songs and stories enhanced by slides from the "People, Past and Present" archive at Easington and the North of England Open Air Museum at Beamish.

Bob and Benny are well respected and seasoned performers from the North-East of England who took to folk music early in their lives.

Both are fine singers and have recorded all of the songs used in the show on a CD available from shops, at performances and by mail order.

Bob has previously supported Fairport Convention and appeared at the club and Banbury's Folk'n'Good Music Day. Benny is well known for his work with Jeff Dennison in "Their Coming Back To The Water".
